General buyer registration duty restored to 5%

Section 16(b) repeals section 3(1G) of the Registration Duty Act and section 16(e)(i) repeals paragraph K, which carried the special 10% rate. The general 5% rate in paragraph J therefore applies to the standard calculator case.

General seller land transfer tax restored to 5%

Section 9(a)(i) repeals section 4(9) of the Land (Duties and Taxes) Act, removing the special 10% land transfer tax. The standard calculator therefore returns to the general 5% seller rate.
